Privacy Policy
Privacy information for the Umah prayer, Qiblah, reminders and daily remembrance app.
Source document: Umah Privacy Policy. Last Updated: September 30, 2026
This page publishes the current Umah-specific privacy document. It replaces the older mixed Umah/Webbie4th language for the Umah app section.
Umah is a WebbieFourth app for prayer times, Qiblah direction, prayer reminders, Azkar and related Muslim daily-practice features. This policy explains how Umah handles information in the app.
1. Privacy Commitment
Umah is designed to work without a WebbieFourth account.
- No Registration: Umah does not require you to create an account or give WebbieFourth your name, email address or phone number to use the app.
- No Advertising Profile: Umah is not designed to build advertising profiles from your prayer routine, Qiblah use, Azkar reading or mosque-related activity.
- No Third-Party Analytics Claim in This Build: The reviewed Umah source does not show Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, advertising SDKs or similar app-behavior analytics frameworks in the Umah app target.
- Local-First Operation: Prayer settings, calculation choices, reminder preferences, selected locations, performed-prayer state, Azkar preferences and other app state are stored locally on your device or in app-group storage used by Umah app extensions and related system integrations.
2. Location
Umah may ask for location permission to provide prayer times, Qiblah direction, travel-related prayer rules and mosque features.
- Prayer Times and Qiblah: Umah uses location to calculate prayer times and Qiblah direction for your selected or current location.
- Saved and Preferred Locations: You may save or select locations for prayer calculations and related app features. These records are used by the app on your device.
- Nearby Mosque Search: When you use mosque-related features, Umah may use Apple location and map services to search for nearby mosques or display related location information.
- Mosque Arrival Reminders: If you enable mosque arrival reminders, Umah may ask for Always location permission so iOS can monitor selected mosque areas and deliver reminders even when the app is not open.
Umah does not operate a WebbieFourth server-side location-history database for your prayer routine. Apple, map providers, your device operating system, your network provider and services you choose to use may process information according to their own roles and privacy practices.
3. Notifications, Widgets, Live Activities, Siri, Watch and CarPlay
Umah uses Apple platform features to make prayer information available where you choose to use it.
- Notifications: Umah uses local notifications for prayer, Azhan, Azkar, Sahoor, Tahajud, mosque and related reminders. Notification delivery depends on your device settings and Apple's notification system.
- Widgets and Live Activities: Umah may share prayer schedule, next-prayer and display state through app-group storage so widgets and Live Activities can show current prayer information.
- Siri and App Intents: Umah may expose app intents, such as asking for the next prayer or marking a prayer as performed. These features use Apple's Siri/App Intents system and local app state.
- Apple Watch: Umah may share schedule and prayer-status information with a paired Apple Watch when supported and enabled.
- CarPlay: Umah includes CarPlay scenes and may show prayer or mosque-related information through CarPlay when supported by the device, vehicle and Apple permissions.
These integrations use Apple platform services and local/shared app storage. WebbieFourth does not need a WebbieFourth account to provide these integrations.
4. Local Records and Settings
Umah stores information needed for app operation, including prayer calculation settings, location labels or coordinates you choose to save, prayer schedules, performed-prayer records, Azhan and notification choices, Azkar display preferences, appearance settings, mosque preferences and diagnostic state needed by the app.
Some records may be stored in normal app storage, protected files, UserDefaults, app-group containers or system-managed storage used by widgets, Watch, Siri, Live Activities and CarPlay. The operating system controls device backups, app containers, notification records and permission state.
5. Contact, Support and Website Use
If you contact WebbieFourth through the website or email, WebbieFourth receives the information you choose to send so that the request can be answered. Do not send precise home addresses, passwords, private keys, unrelated health information, financial information or other information that is not needed for support.
The WebbieFourth website may have its own ordinary server logs or website cookies. Website activity is separate from Umah's local app state.
6. Third-Party Services
Umah relies on Apple platform services and may use map, location, notification, Siri, Watch, CarPlay, App Store and operating-system services. Those services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices. If you use links or services outside Umah, those third parties have their own practices.
7. Children and Family Use
Umah is intended to be useful for Muslim individuals and families. WebbieFourth does not intentionally collect children's personal information through a WebbieFourth account because Umah does not require such an account. Parents and guardians should supervise device permissions, notifications, location use and any support messages sent from a child's device.
8. Data Deletion and Controls
You can control Umah data and permissions through the app and iOS settings.
- Delete Local App Data: Deleting the app removes ordinary local app data according to iOS behavior. Data stored in backups, shared app-group containers, paired devices, screenshots, exported files or system services may require separate action.
- Location Permission: You can change or revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
- Notifications: You can change or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings and manage reminder choices in the app.
- Widgets, Live Activities, Siri, Watch and CarPlay: You can manage these integrations through the app and Apple system settings where available.
- Support Correspondence: If you contacted WebbieFourth, use the website contact form or email to ask about access, correction or deletion of support correspondence.
9. Changes
WebbieFourth may update this policy as Umah changes. The Last Updated date identifies this version.
10. Contact
Questions about Umah privacy may be sent through the WebbieFourth contact form or by email.
